Mohamed Suhaimi Bin Yaacob

Presently as Chief Corporate Officer responsible for strategic corporate transformation and business growth at KTMB, Malaysia’s national railway company. He graduated from University of Miami, United States of America. He has extensive international experience in the rail transportation and rail logistics sector after having served in senior management positions in Brasil & LAC, India, Malaysia and Indonesia. He also represents the industry as speakers and panelist in a number of forums in Malaysia and internationally. Ranging subject matter from national economic growth, urban growth development plans, transport engineering and rail logistics.

Leading team member for Malaysia’s first railcar technology export and product development. An advocate for promoting sustainable growth and a firm believer in technology and value engineering. He also conducted feasibility studies for the installation of solar power plants in Malaysia and India. Using the current platform, he continues his vision to liberate the railway industry and railway businesses within Malaysia and the ASEAN region.

En. Razidan Bin Ghazalli

Razidan, 60, male, a Malaysian, holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance & Accounting) from the University of Tasmania, Australia and a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (Malaysia). He is also a post graduate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.

Razidan first joined TM as Financial Advisor on 16 September 2019 and subsequently appointed as Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO) on 1 November 2019.

He has more than 36 years of working experience in public accounting and the commercial sectors within the telecommunications, plantation and oil & gas industry. He has a strong grasp of core finance functions including treasury corporate finance, merger and acquisition and corporate restructuring & transformation including international experiences in Indonesia, Vietnam, Germany, Singapore, Australia, Iran and Netherlands, amongst others.

Razidan also sits on the board of several subsidiaries of TM, including TM Technology Services Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Webe Digital Sdn. Bhd.) and Mobikom Sdn Bhd.

En. Mohamed Tajul Bin Mohamed Sultan

Tajul, 53, a Malaysian, holds an MBA on Strategic Management from International Business School, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from Hanyang University, Seoul, South Korea.

He was appointed as Chief Network Officer (CNO) of TM on 1 November 2020 where he is responsible for the end to end of network planning, roll out and operations of TM network. His focus will be on TM network modernization, process simplification and automation, as well as to ensure the best customer experience through excellent technical delivery, fulfillment and assurance for Unifi, TM ONE and TM Global customers.

Tajul, has over 27 years of experience in spearheading full spectrum of new technology adoption, operations management, service enhancements along with network infrastructure transformation within the telecommunication domain.

He started his career with TM at the Seberang Prai office in 1994 as a Switching Operation Executive. In 2002, he worked with a group of teams that was responsible to set up Switching Operation Centre in Kuala Lumpur. Later between 2007 to 2011, he was tasked to oversee several roles in Northern Region Network Operation & Management prior to his promotion as General Manager, Network Management and Operation of Southern Region in 2012. He was then assigned to establish and lead Petaling Jaya State Business Unit in 2015 where he was successful in transforming and turning around the business. He went back to lead Network Management & Operation in 2017 and was promoted as Vice President in 2019 before assuming his current position as CNO.

Pn. Khairul Liza Binti Ibrahim

Khairul Liza, aged 54, a Malaysian, holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree with a major in Electrical Engineering from Malaysia University of Technology (UTM). Her academic background is complemented by her participation in several leadership programmes, notably the Strategic Board Leadership Programme in collaboration between Multimedia University and Henley Business School, as well as the Digital Transformation Journey Programme by IMD Business School.

She was appointed as the covering Executive Vice President (EVP), providing interim leadership at TM Global, effective from the 1st of August 2023.

Prior to that, she held the position of Vice President, Product & Marketing, where her main focus was to drive TM Global’s portfolio of products and services, catering to both domestic and international markets. Her primary mission was to explore new business potential and capitalize on emerging opportunities. Additionally, she was responsible for formulating a comprehensive strategic marketing plan to propel TM Global’s array of products and innovative solutions to new heights.

Khairul Liza joined TM in 1992 and was assigned to Network Technical services division, where she gained knowledge and technical expertise in Network Technology and Development. In January 2007, she joined the Product Development & Management division at TM Wholesale and was responsible for developing new products and services. She was then assigned to lead and manage Next Generation Network (NGN) and IP Product Development.

She was one of the pioneers in the development of Malaysia’s high-speed broadband (HSBB) network, a Public-Private Partnership with the Malaysian Government, where she was entrusted with the development of wholesale HSBB services that provided open access to the HSBB network for eligible Malaysian service providers. With her extensive experience and track record in managing substantial projects, she was subsequently appointed as the General Manager of Business Strategy & Management at TM Wholesale in 2011.

Khairul Liza’s leadership and vision have earned her recognition in her field. She was recognized as Capacity Media’s ’20 Women to Watch’ in 2020, a power listing honoring top 20 Women leaders in the wholesale telecom sector.

Wan Shamilah Binti Wan Muhammad Saidi

Wan Shamilah is currently the Head of Group Corporate Finance. A PETRONAS Scholar, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Accounting from University of Bristol, England. She is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. She attended Advanced Management Program (AMP) at Harvard Business School in 2016.

Shamilah has served in variety of roles across several business segments in PETRONAS. She was the Chief Financial Officer for three key subsidiaries within the group, being PETRONAS Gas Berhad, MLNG and PETRONAS Chemicals Group. She has also held the position of Senior General Manager for Crude Oil Marketing & Trading and Corporate Strategic Planning of PETRONAS. Prior to her current role, she led digital transformation for PETRONAS as Chief Digital Officer.

She was appointed as Board of Director Fiberail on 9th of August 2021.

YBrs. Mohd Rani Hisham Bin Samsudin

YBrs. Encik Mohd Rani Hisham bin Samsudin, aged 59, was appointed as CEO on 1st December 2020. He was a former Group Chief Executive Officer of Kontena Nasional Bhd and currently, he is the CEO of KTMB who has over 23 years of experience in transport and logistics. A graduate of Northrop University in the US, he also was previously the group CEO of Pos Aviation Services Sdn Bhd (formerly known as KL Airport Services Sdn Bhd) under DRB-Hicom Bhd and was also CEO of KN Sime Logistics Sdn Bhd. He is being appointed as a Board of Directors Fiberail on 6th October 2021.
